16 Examples Showing That The World Is Full Of Good People –

As we all know, the mainstream media news tends to focus on stories and themes of a negative nature; terrorism, war, disaster, political scandal, disease, economic gloom, sexual scandal, violence and crime…

Like many others, at Kindness Blog we feel that the good in our world far outweighs the bad. As such, wouldn’t it be a lovely change if the major ‘News’ organisations started reflecting this in the content they deliver into tens of millions of homes everyday.

As 2013 draws to a close, please don’t believe the media’s doom-and-gloom hype. The world really is full of good people!

  1. The reason W-H-Y the media have the tendency to focus on the negatives is because the negatives sells better than good news, after all, who, would want to hear about how a puppy had made a little boy smile, compared to say, children who died from abuse and neglect, and that, is because the news have this way of focusing too much on the negatives, when what we need now, more than ever, is the good news that keeps people’s hopes alive inside.

      1. The reason why, i think (but that’s still JUST me!!!) bad stories sell more, is because people want to feel good about themselves, and if they get bombarded with ALL the good news, like all the positives, like how someone managed to save a child chasing a puppy out onto a street, and the like, then, they’d continue to feel very BAD about themselves, and people NEED to feel good about themselves, even IF it’s at the cost of belittling someone else.
