Every year in September they would talk about this in school all day. It’s just sad. One thing I remember seeing is people jumping off a building and that video was just sad!

We remember and still wonder why such hatred could exist. The ordinary people who did heroic things to help and save strangers always comes to mind. I also think of my niece who was killed a few days later by a friend who was driving drunk. This time of year is hard, so very hard.

You chose such great images of the devastation and the people who helped to try to find the ones who were caught under the rubble. They are our heroes, the first responders and the ones who gave their lives, too. I feel for the dogs who had to go into the dusty rubble and ‘sniff out’ the ones who were alive and dead, too. Such a powerful post, thanks for this!
