  1. A group of adult volunteers were talking about this today as we noted how much happier a group of volunteers are when there are younger adults and teenagers involved in the volunteering duties.

  2. Easy way to do it make a sandwich give it to your child and tell them to hand it out to any homeless person they see. Also at restaurants take left over foods to go and get your child to give out. Installing simple ideas when young ensures great adults. In islam we have a sayings giving in charity will not make you poor. Usually I give my son coins and from there I say half goes to a beggar. So in turn now my four year old if he has any thing he gives out. What touched me the most was on our eid day he got a substantial amount of money as a gift, he said mum half would you give it to the blind man near my school who doesn’t have a home. Shocked I was as he had enough for an expensive toy he chose to rather ease some one else’s burdens then a toy he always wanted

Volunteering can be great: both for the community and our kids. Read this interesting article by Lara Patangan about getting kids involved in volunteer work.
