  1. These are such great ideas! Your article made me think of a quote by the Dalai Lama: “Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.” Thank you so much for sharing your positivity. You are a beautiful person!

    1. Thank you! I’m glad these ideas can be inspiring. I agree with you that you need to be let’s say “emotionally equipped” when helping someone who might be going through things that hit close to home. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised at some people on 7cupsoftea who were asking for help sometimes but also being good active listeners. I imagine it can be therapeutic for some to be outside their own head and focus for a moment on someone else’s life. It can bring perspective. But when it comes to suicidal thoughts, it’s probably better indeed to go on tumblr to look for positive blogs (and there are many wonderful, uplifting ones). Acts of kindness are so varied that there’s one –or many– for everyone. 🙂 Thank you again for your comment!

    1. This is a great initiative! Yes, every opportunity to interact with others, either online or offline, is an opportunity to do good, practice kindness and non-judgment. Every proactive step you take in this direction is amazing and powerful. Keep up the good work! 🙂

    1. Thanks for the reblog! You seem to be already helping a lot of people on your website by sharing what you live. That’s a beautiful and courageous thing to do.

  2. Thanks for the post. I was looking around and out of many articles, found this to have better actionable and practical advice. I am planning to implement 2-3 of these, including quite possibly 7 cups.

Please continue adding good to the world and helping others join the cause.
