Be still my heart — Daisy Mae, another former dog-fighting dog who cuddles with the elderly and frail, and even allows small children to hold her tight when they are undergoing painful medical procedures.
I think that hugs should be prescribed as mandatory for all of us, young or old. Ten TIGHT, LONG, SQUEEZE hugs every single day. One as soon as we awaken in the morning, then evenly spaced out through the day ❤
Hmm. I think in Russian orphanages, they are proving what we’ve known over here for a long while: hugged children grow faster, healthier, and smarter. Can’t be helped, though, over there, as they lack workers enough to touch every child.
But here, folks will sue us for touching a child. Too bad. I think it’s too bad. I touch them, anyway. Poor things.
Beautiful loving story… thank you for bringing to our attention!

I wonder how many of us would stop fighting if we got plenty of hugs?

And public school teachers are no longer allowed to hug their students…
