Just a man with a plow and his son…

dad and son in the snow

“On the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 9, whilst digging ourselves out of the so-called “Blizzard Nemo,” a man with a plow attached to his pickup truck randomly came down our street. Unprompted, this man proceeded to plow our driveway. No words were exchanged, just a smile, and a simple hand gesture; he neither negotiated nor demanded payment; he simply went about clearing the snow, then left. Furthermore, we noticed that he had his son, perhaps 6 or 7, in the passenger side of his vehicle. “One can only surmise this man’s motivations, but I’ll venture that perhaps a belief that virtue is its own reward. With regards to his son in the passenger seat, one can only marvel at what a terrific example this man sets for this boy as a result of his good deed.”
