Lovely. I often wonder if these stories are true, but this one, if it isn’t, surely ought to be! And it ought to be repeated a lot more.

I know that these types of stories are true; that for every false or embellished one there are hundreds of real-life equally life-altering transforming acts of kindness that people all-to-rarely hear about. Indeed, even the person performing the kindness has often either completely forgotten the incident or has no idea as to how huge of a positive impact their “small” act of kindness has on the people they helped.

Beautiful story. It brought tears to my eyes. Glad that everything worked out so well for Makayla and her baby Joe.

Even it it weren’t 100% true, its inspiring enough.
Maybe most people can just pull out the wallet and give a stash of cash to a stranger…but isn’t the attitude what matters most?

Thanks for all your comments! 🙂
It’s a beautiful story for sure, but it also did set-off our sceptical alarms. However, the person that posted this is a well-respected member of the site and from our research, it seemed that those people that knew them did not doubt this happened exactly as it was told.
Either way, kindness rocks!!! 🙂

Stunning, I believe things like this happen as one day I was walking up on a side walk of a busy four lane street, carrying a suitcase and a lady walked across the street gave me a big hug and a 20.00 dollar bill, I was grateful, appreciative and she was my angel for that day. I don’t even know her name as I was too shocked by her kindness to ask, as to say I was having a difficult time would have been bang on. There are caring people everywhere in the world.
And you rock for posting such great stories Paul! Also thanks for coming by my blog and liking so many of my posts! Gratitude Dance. :~)
