How come there is no human being rushing to do the same? Why is the person only taking the video?

This is from America’s Funniest Home Videos, so I’m thinking that it’s something that probably happened once, off-camera, and they were so amazed by it, they recreated the situation to see if the dog would do it again.
I’m only guessing, but it seems most likely to me… and you can’t see far from the edge of the side of the pool the dog jumps from, so there could have been someone there in case the pup was in real trouble.
Again, total conjecture on my part.
