I agree with you, nurses are amazing people. Mum received so much care and love from them it blew us away, we were provided with coffee etc as we sat by her bedside or simply told , the kitchen is yours. When she died they were genuinely upset for dad, so much so that we made a painful revisit and brought chocs and flowers for some and strawberries for those on a diet. But it was very little in comparison to what they had given us.
