As the mother of an infant heart transplant recipient, this touches me deeply. Without doctors like this and all their teams who were invested in their patients and improving what often seem like irreversible damage, my daughter would not be alive today.

I find it interesting that, for example, actors and actresses on TV that are pretending to be nurses and doctors, can earn more than the real ones who are saving lives. Crazy world eh? 🙂

I had a four way by pass in Ocala Florida in March of 99. I was told that because of the condition of my heart and of my arteries that at best they guessed that I might live another three to four years if I was real careful. Well, it is 14 years and 8 months later now and by the grace of God and the talent of the doctors I am still breathing.
