That was a nice story, I enjoyed the read, thank you for posting it. People of our society today will call us idiots, gullible fools, or liars, when we say to ourselves that it made us feel good inside ourselves after we have helped a stranger in need. Or, when we thank the Lord Jesus for having given us the ability to do a kind deed just because it was the right thing to do.

I cannot tell you how often strangers have helped me. From the person who spoke no English who maneuvered my car out of a snowdrift to the clearly homeless woman holding the sign, “anything helps” who let me know I had a flat tire just as I was getting on the freeway… there have been so many unexpected moments of empathy, kindness, and generosity on my own path. I’m so glad to know I’m not the only one.
