A Boy’s Letter To Santa Asking Him to Cure His Dad

A BOY of 10 has written a heartbreaking letter to Santa asking him to cure his dad of a deadly brain tumour. Ronnie Harris has told Father Christmas he’s just got one wish this year – to make his father, Russell Harris, 32, better, as he fights for his life. The big-hearted youngster does not ask for a single present or treat from Santa. Amazing Ronnie said he’d be the “happiest boy in the whole world” if Father Christmas could make his poignant dream come true. His mum, Emma Harris, 31, found the tear-jerking letter under her son’s bed – and burst into tears with sheer pride and emotion. Mrs Harris, of Ipswich, Suffolk, said: “I didn’t even know he had it. “I was just cleaning Ronnie’s bedroom when I found it shoved under his bed. “I was very touched. “It was heart-wrenching to think that a child of his age doesn’t want anything for himself for Christmas.” Powerful words - Ronnie holds up his very special request to Santa.

The precocious 10-year-old wrote a heartfelt letter to St. Nick asking him to “please find a cure” for his father’s cancer, the Daily Mirror reported. Ronnie’s dad, Russel, was diagnosed eight years ago with an inoperable brain tumor and his condition has grown much worse.
Ronnie’s mom takes care of her ailing husband around the clock and her eldest son does whatever he can to help out. He’s learning to cook so that he can make meals for the family and knows when to call an ambulance when his dad isn’t doing well.
