After recently moving into a new home, one Reddit user made a discovery that he didn’t expect.
He knew the home was recently foreclosed on, but it was the hidden letter above the stove tucked away in a cabinet that caught his attention. The contents are heartbreaking.

The letter read, “Dear reader, My mom and Dad lived at this house for 15 years and I lived here for 9 years. So thats all my life but then my mom and dad got a dovorse [sic] and my mom took me my brother and my sister to a different house and now I am helping my dad move to a different house, a littler house. I love this house so much and please take care of the room with the green carpet over all the house because I grew up in this house and I love it.”

That poor boy. He was so upset about the sad circumstances of his family, but yet, was accepting the changes in his life by letting go of his house.
