Hero Saved Woman From a Burning Car with Less Than 60-Seconds to Spare

It was the Sunday after Thanksgiving when Brad Nolan, age 28 and a Project Engineer, driving toward Charleston, spotted a glow in the woods off Interstate 85. He pulled over and learned from other motorists that a white SUV had struck another car, swerved off the road, and down an embankment.

By the time he reached the vehicle, the engine compartment was on fire, and a woman trapped in the smashed passenger side was crying, “Somebody help me, I’m going to die, I’m going to die.”

Nolan pried open the woman’s door, cut her free of her seat belt, and pulled her from the car as her hair and pants caught on fire and flames licked the roof. They got to safety less than a minute before the car exploded.

A real-life SuperHero!
