When my first husband was in hospice, I was encouraged to bring our cats to visit. I know it made my husband very happy to have this visit.

I hope when it’s my turn they will let my Annabel Lee be with me. My mom didn’t have any pets but she had all of us in the bed everyday til the end. We’re in our 50’s. I don’t know who needed that more her or us. I imagine its the same for our beloved pets.
