Two Kind, Smiling Strangers and Their Donkey

While traveling through Anatolia last year, we resided for a few days in a remote cave-dwelling village near Kapadoyka. My sister and I were sauntering around the streets around sunset when we met these kind, smiling strangers and their donkey.

My sister and I were sauntering around the streets around sunset when we met these kind, smiling strangers and their donkey. After exchanging trying several languages to say hello, we finally able to find a common tongue in German surprisingly. This elderly couple who wore traditional Anatolian garb seemed untouched by the nearby cosmopolitan world of Istanbul and offered us more freshly picked tomatoes than we could hold. Truly an amazing one of a kind experience. Location: Village near Kapadokyia,Central Anatolia, Turkey.
