Hot Soup

hitchhiker art

The year was 1968 at the corner of Avenue Rd and Wilson Ave i was on my way to York University Keel campus. I was hitch hiking as usual. The weather was very cold and I was standing forever with no luck/ride.

A very kind lady called out to me from the apartment building I was standing in front of.

She put a hot cup of soup on her window sill for me.

Best soup I ever had.

A heart felt thanks again.
