  1. This is so true. I once read that you should always take the time to read to them at night, as one day they won’t want you to anymore. That really impacted me and how I parented my children. And I have to say. now they are grown I can’t think of anything I’d rather have done than read them stories, even though, with three of them It meant bedtime lasted nearly three hours.

  2. A beautiful post, that brought many memories back. My children are 16, 18. 21 and 23. The days gone by of teething, temper tantrums, and toddler tommy aches were hard at that time. Amidst all that there was so much joy. And Devon, I admire you for recognizing this. I see it in the words of this post, and gave me a great big smile! 😀
