I’d love to see teachers all go through intensive anti-bullying/pro-caring for everyone training which would include a heavy dose of how teachers themselves often bully children even without realizing it. There is a huge difference between maintaining discipline and bullying, and too often parents and teachers cross that line–perhaps because many don’t even know there is a line or where it should be.

Hi Russ,
I think that’s a brilliant idea and, to be honest, now that I think about it I’m surprised that this is not a mandatory part of a teacher’s training.
