Dolphin Rescue on a Brazilian Beach

Earlier this week, 30 dolphins were carried ashore with the tide on a beach near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The dolphins were beached, wriggling helplessly for a few minutes, until about a dozen beach-goers began freeing the animals from the sand.

In a matter of minutes, all the dolphins were safely swimming in deeper water. Incredibly, there were no injuries or fatalities during the incident.  Check out the amazing video footage!

  1. Wow how many idiots all at once… you NEVER pull a dolphin by the tail. you lift it. Lets drag you by the ankles face down over the sand and see how you enjoy it.
