From the Humans of Singapore website:
“I’ve been blind since I was 14 years old, but it has taught me to see people for what they are. Most people are kind, some are indifferent, and some go much out of their way to help. But no one is inherently bad. At the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter what you look like. It’s what you do that makes you a better person.”
“And what’s the kindest thing someone has done for you?”
“My wife – she married me, bore my children, and has dedicated her life to taking care of me. I don’t know what she looks like, but I don’t care.”
