“They held each other’s hand for what seemed like a minute and exchanged heartfelt words I couldn’t quite hear. I thought they might know each other, so when the girl finally continued on her way down the street, I ran after her.”
“Oh, I don’t know her,“ she said. “I just know that every time I do something good, it comes back to me. It always does.”

That’s a smart girl – expecting a kindness to come back to her.
