A Latte for the Birdwoman of Boston

(Photo/story via Portraits of Boston)

“The woman sitting on the ground was feeding the pigeons, and I stopped for a second trying to decide if I should talk to her. As I stood there, a girl walked up to her and handed her a latte”

“They held each other’s hand for what seemed like a minute and exchanged heartfelt words I couldn’t quite hear. I thought they might know each other, so when the girl finally continued on her way down the street, I ran after her.”

“Oh, I don’t know her,“ she said. “I just know that every time I do something good, it comes back to me. It always does.”
