Tracey Buyce, CANDi International photographer, came across a special dog named Luna in Bonfil, Mexico. Tracey found the poor dog to be nothing but bones and skin. Luna desperately needed help, so Tracey managed to convince the dog’s owner to relinquish Luna over to her care.
After an examination from a volunteer veterinarian, she was diagnosed with starvation and a treatable cancer. Luna’s story has an incredible ending, as she found a loving family more than a thousand miles away in upstate New York to take her in.

Poor puppy I can`t understand how some people allow this to happen. It breaks my heart that this dog had such a bad start on life but it makes me really happy knowing that now it is loved and cared for. Thank you for sharing! ❤

Wow, what a beautiful little dog. Luna has such soft, trusting eyes. I am so happy she found a loving family. The bible teaches that people who care for animals share the heart of God, who cares for them too: “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.” (Proverbs 12:10).
