  1. This was the most beautiful thing I have read in ages. I’m in tears- of joy, of empathy, of compassion, & of heart-ache for you, your journey. You are even more of an amazing person than I already knew you to be. Many warm hugs to you! ❤

  2. What a beautiful story. Thank you. I was lucky enough to know my father in-law for 3 wonderful years before he passed. I met my husband 2 months before his dad had his heart transplant. Because of that person who gave up his life to give my father in-law his heart, I was able to know one of the most amazing men I’ve ever known and I got to know the man who raised my husband to be the amazing man he is. Organ Donation is such an important part of many peoples lives that in the devastating time of death, somehow knowing that your loved one saved a life can be a blessing. I also had a good friend who lost her nephew who donated his organs and saved 5 lives when he lost his. A beautiful story, and glad you are here to tell it and that you and your son are so close. God Bless you both.

  3. So beautiful. This story is so inspiring. How you manage to stay positive while facing such adversity – it’s unbelievable.

And your son. I have a son. I hope I can raise him to be the kind of man you raised. I’ve never seen such love from a son to his mother. I wish you both peace, joy and unlimited love, now and always.

  4. Thank-you for the kind of story that makes every day a pleasure to live, just knowing that despite the ups and downs that are thrown at each and every one of us every moment of every day, there are still people like you, and your son, walking around on God’s green Earth.
