Charlie Tillotson, a six-year-old girl from England, had never had a haircut before, not even a small trim. However, that all changed after she watched a television documentary about children suffering from various types of cancer.
According to the Metro UK, Tillotson went up to her father and said “daddy, would you mind if I had all my hair cut off for children with cancer?”
‘I welled up.’

When the community heard about Tillotson’s good deed, they gave her a crown and a dress to wear in the town’s carnival.
Check out the adorable video below featuring Charlie Tillotson talking about her fundraiser.
The community has bought Charlie a dress and a tiara to wear at this year’s Sidmouth Carnival.

The Little Princess Trust will now send the hair to China to be made into a wig.
It will return to the UK and be given to boy or girl going through cancer treatment.

My daughter did the same thing, donating about 30 inches of hair. Her hair was so thick that they had to cut it in small batches. That was in about 2002 and her hair is below her hips again. Her beau’s hair has not been cut in about 25 years and his goes almost to the floor. Locks of Love is a wonderful organization..
