Opening a door is more than a physical act. It’s about putting yourself out there, getting to know people, making them feel comfortable, and making them feel welcome.
After being bullied, Josh decided to make a change that ultimately had a dramatic impact on his life and on the lives of his fellow students. We hope his story is as inspiring to you as it is to us.

Josh was bullied but he did not feel bitter or revengeful. He made a new start with a simple act of kindness. It not only changed his life but the ones of his teachers and school mates.

What a lovely young man. I bet his folks are proud of him. You are an inspiration to people who have been bullied sugar. Keep it up.
What a wonderful story. So good to read about someone who not only helped himself out of a bad situation, but then went on to help others suffering the same thing. I think he’s a very special person.
My daughter was bullied in middle school. It was a terrible thing for her and she has never been the same since then. The bullies stole a good part of her life that she can never get back. This is a great story of overcoming the bully beat downs.
One simple act of kindness can change lives…. what a wonderful young man!
