10-year-old tabby cat, Huck Finn, works at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital as a therapy cat. There he helps sick children get better and brings comfort and smiles to the little patients.
Huck Finn pops into patients rooms, where he will lay down with them and give them lots of love. Petting is known to be very therapeutic for the patients. Here he is seen with his human buddy, Landon, enjoying a very sweet cuddle.
I had seen a report about this cat. He’s special. Therapy cats aren’t as popular as therapy dogs. I believe his owner calls him “H Finn.” He is doing a great job.
My cat of 18 years taught me how to truly be a good human. The two rascals to whom I’m currently a grateful housekeeper, continually show so much love ,humor, concern and dearness that I’m not even remotely surprised that H Finn is such a blessing to those darling children!
